Using Open Cards

Open Cards is free to use for amusement and educational purposes. Commercial use is prohibited, without prior agreement with Learning Lab Denmark, Danish University of Education.

Creating Cards

Open Cards makes it possible for everyone to make their own card games and to create invite-only communities for creating cards with friends and acquaintances. Within those closed communities, you can use any kind of images and texts for private entertainment and creative work. If you want to publish your creation on the web or otherwise make it available to the wider public, you need to make sure that you are not infringing upon the copyrights of others.

Or, putting it simly: So, your kids get in the zone, start making card games, they print them out, pretty soon a parent says: "Can we sell these games at the local fair?".

Then you need to know what's real and what's make-believe.
